[ More because Elsa wouldn't be happy to hear it, and Angel doesn't want to make her understand why she's done what she has. That's the whole point of her cutting quick and loose like that, don't give others the chance to find out and make the judgement themselves. ]

[ She appreciates the sentiment, even though she can't fully absorb it and believes it's ultimately misplaced. Who in their right mind would be there for her if they knew what she was, what she'd done? Letting people like Elsa extend their good graces toward her was deceptive at best...and she was done with being that way, wasn't she? ]
